The PICOPILOT-NA consists of two circuit boards, wire harness and a GPS receiver and programming software CD. The -NA performs GPS navigation, roll control (wing leveling) and altitude hold. PICOPILOT was designed for rudder-only, electric motor-gliders (without ailerons ) but it can be adapted to control trainer type planes with ailerons. The control system is designed to interface directly to a 5v RC receiver which provides ENABLE and MANUAL commands. 3v RC receivers will require buffers for all Picopilot connectors.
